The Equestrian Centre has a large new
indoor arena, large floodlit indoor arena, show jumping,
dressage, cross country, schooling, riding courses for adults
and children, pony camps for children, private riding lessons,
livery at keen rates, coffee shop, and ladies and gents
changing rooms. The Centre is in the picturesque village of
Ballina/Killaloe on the Clare/Tipperary Border. The Centre is
situated 22km from Limerick on the main Dublin Road from
Limerick, 20km to the village of Birdhill. At Birdhill take
the next turn left towards the village of Ballina/Killaloe. Go
2km down that road and the Lough Derg Equestrian Centre is on
the right.

Clonlara Equestrian Centre
Clonlara Equestrian centre is
situated in East Clare , 5km from Limerick city and 8km
from the marina town of Killaloe. The riding school is
situated on 130acres of farmland making it ideal for
trekking. It hosts an international size indoor, an outdoor
manage and stabling for 65stables. It caters for all levels ,
whether its a showjumping lesson, a trek in the country a
horse to go hunting or to enjoy a weeks pony camp while in

Fishing on Lough Derg.
T.J.'s Fishing Centre.
Founded in 1993 and run by T.J. and his wife Noda both keen anglers and natives of Killaloe/Ballina the Angling Centre caters to the needs of the local and visiting anglers alike. The centre has become the hub of fishing information, freely given with advice on all fishing in the area. T.J. and Noda can also point their customers to accommodations, restaurants, and local places of interest if need be.
The Centre supplies bait to anglers in the area and can also provide a bait storage facility free of charge if required. Details of bait can be had on our bait order form. There are also a large range of dead -bait for pike and sea fishing available at the shop. Detailed maps of the fishing in the area available also.

Boat
Hire:
The
Spirit of Killaloe is a luxury 50 seater passenger boat. On
board is a choice of two decks, the upper deck is ideally
suited to taking the sun and enjoying the spectaclar scenery.
The lower deck which has central heating and a stereo system
can seat up to 50 people with full bar facilities, tea, coffee
and snack refreshments on board.
