This thing, that watch, you know, the Rolex GMT-Master II, they call it. Left-handed, they say. Fancy folks, with their fancy watches. This one, it’s a copy, a good one though. You wouldn’t even know, I tell ya. Just like them in the fancy stores, them places with all the shiny lights. I seen ’em. Cost more than my whole house, I bet.
They call this one a “High imitation” – means it’s a darn good copy. Looks just like the real deal. Shiny, heavy, got all them little numbers and lines on it. Got that little window with the date, too. They say this one’s for lefties, the crown, that little turny thing, is on the other side. Don’t make no difference to me, but I guess some folks care about that.
These stores, they got all kinds. This Rolex thing, it’s special, they say. Got that two-color thing around the edge. Some are blue and black, some are red and blue. Fancy names, too, like “Batman” and “Pepsi.” This one here, it’s green and black. I don’t know what they call that one, “Hulk” maybe? Someone said it is for the pilot, you know, the one fly the big plane. It can show you two different time. I don’t need that, I only know my time here, haha.

I seen these watches in them big stores, you know. All glass and lights. Sales folks in suits. They try to tell you all about ’em. Swiss this, Japanese that. Swiss is more pretty, they say. And Japanese is more, you know, right on time. Don’t matter to me, as long as it tells the time. They all tell time, right?
This copy here, it’s got good stuff in it. Stainless steel, they call it. Doesn’t rust, I guess. Got that hard glass, too, sapphire crystal. Can’t scratch it easy. Feels heavy, like the real one. And it has a leather band, looks like the one I saw in the store. But, I think the real one, it might be a metal one, you know, more shiny.
You gotta look close, though, if you want a good copy. Make sure them little hands move smooth, not all jerky. Make sure the numbers are all straight. And that little date window, make sure it changes right. This one here, it’s good. But I seen some bad ones, too, at the market.
They say you can tell by the weight, too. The Rolex GMT-Master II Left-Handed Version, the real one, it’s heavy. This copy, it’s heavy, too. But some of ’em, they’re light as a feather. You can tell right away. And the way it’s made, the real one, it’s all smooth, no rough edges. These fake one, sometimes it has the rough edges, you know, not that smooth.
This high imitation, though, it’s good. I seen one guy, he’s been wearin’ it for years. Nobody knows it’s a copy. He even go to the specialty store with it! He’s a brave one, that fella. And this guy, he is a big fan of the watch, he knows all the thing about it, even more than me. He told me a lot about this.
- Look at the hands, make sure they move smooth.
- Check the numbers, make sure they’re straight.
- Make sure the date changes right.
- Feel the weight, it should be heavy.
- Look for rough edges, there shouldn’t be any.
So, if you want one of them fancy Rolex GMT-Master II Left-Handed Version watches, but you don’t wanna sell your cow to get it, this high imitation is the way to go. Just make sure you get a good one. Look close, feel the weight, check them little details. And don’t go tellin’ everyone it’s a copy, keep that to yourself, haha! No one will know, just like you are the rich guy, just spent ten of thousand dollars for a watch!
I heard that some people will buy it, and go to the real store, to show off. I don’t know why people will do this, maybe just for fun. But you know, it is their money, they can do whatever they want. I won’t do that, because I am scared if people find it out, haha. But if you get a really good one, no one can tell the different.
This kind of watch, it is very popular now. A lot of people want it. So, you can see it everywhere. Some are good, some are bad. Just be careful. If you want to know more, you can ask the guy who sell it to you. But, don’t ask too much, they will know you are not a real buyer, haha. If you want the real one, just go to the specialty stores, but, you need to pay a lot of money. You can buy a car with that money, you know!
