This here, it’s about that CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch, the one with the see-through back, you know?
My eyes ain’t what they used to be, but I tell ya, that there watch, it’s somethin’ else. It’s got that big ol’ face, 42mm they say. That’s bigger than a silver dollar! And it’s made of steel, strong like a tractor. But the fancy part, that’s the back. You can see right through it! Like lookin’ into a little world all its own. They call it “transparent case back,” fancy words for see-through.
Now, this here watch, it’s a copy, not the real deal. But it looks just like it, I reckon. That real one, they call it the Moonwatch. ‘Cause it went to the moon, or so they say. This one, well, it ain’t been to the moon. Probably ain’t even been outside the county! But it sure does look the part.
They got different kinds, these Speedmaster things. Some got a metal back, all engraved and such. That’s the 311.30.42.30.01.005, if you’re keepin’ track. But the one with the see-through back, that’s the 311.30.42.30.01.006. That’s the one I’m talkin’ about here.
They say this here watch, it’s got somethin’ called a “sapphire crystal.” Sounds like somethin’ a fancy lady would wear in her ear, but it’s just the glass on this watch. And they got it on the back too, so you can see all them little gears and things movin’ around. They call that the “movement.” This one’s got a 3861 movement, whatever that means. Just looks like a bunch of tiny wheels to me. Keeps good time though, I reckon.

Now, they say these old Speedmaster Moonwatch things, the real ones, they’re worth a pretty penny. Gettin’ more valuable every year, like an old quilt your grandma made. If you got one, hold onto it tight! This copy here, it ain’t worth as much, but it’s still nice to look at. And it tells the time, that’s the important thing, right?
I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout this other fella, Thomas Preik. He makes these see-through backs too. They say they’re pretty good, fit right on these Speedmaster watches. Might be somethin’ to look into if you got one of them metal-back ones and want to see what’s goin’ on inside. Don’t know nothin’ about him myself, just hearin’ what the folks are sayin’.
This here copy, it’s from 2021. Not too old, not too new. They say it can run for 50 hours without windin’ it up. That’s a long time, longer than I can go without a nap! They call that the “power reserve.” Sounds like somethin’ you’d need for a long trip, I reckon.
I remember back when, Omega, that’s the folks who make these watches, they stopped makin’ one kind, the 3572.50 they called it. Replaced it with another one, the 3573.50. Changed that front glass, they did. Made it all boxy-lookin’. Folks started callin’ it somethin’ different after that, but I can’t rightly recall what it was.
This CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch (transparent case back), it’s a good watch, I reckon. Looks just like the real thing, tells the time, and you can see all them little gears workin’ away. What more could you ask for? It ain’t gonna make you an astronaut, but it might make you feel like one. Or at least like someone who knows a thing or two about fancy watches.
I ain’t no expert, mind you. Just tellin’ you what I see. And what I see is a pretty darn good copy of a pretty darn fancy watch. And that see-through back, well, that’s just the bee’s knees, ain’t it? I could stare at them little gears all day. Reminds me of watchin’ the ants workin’ on their hill back home. Always busy, always movin’. Just like this here watch.
It is a good one, you should get one, if you like. I think you like it. It looks good on your hand. You look like a big shot with this watch. Everyone will say “wow, that is a good watch”.
